SAINT SEIYA: LORD OF THE UNDERWOLD (concept)

How this came to be. I thought to myself, what is Saint Seiya in one sentence? “A billionare using her influence on loyal fighters her family raised just for the entertainment of Japan.”

...and now I can’t stop thinking about this.

- Yakuza boss is Mitsumasa Kido and attempts to control the entire world.

- Saori Kido is the boss’ daughter and heir to the Yakuza.

- Tatsumi his main bodyguard

- Kido has an idea, to build an orphanage with the victims of his bloody war around Japan.

- Roshi, old ally from the Triads

- Daidaros, new recrtuit from Argentine’s mafia

- Shion accepts to train Seiya in Europe, still an ally to Mitsumasa Kido

- This kids will fight for his daughter once he is gone after severe training, then he’ll break their minds into a mass psychosis/heavy conditioning/drug abuse/hypnotism all through 24 hour therapy by the most sadistic doctors on the planet, making the kids believe they are fighting for a just cause.

- The cosmos they feel is when the minds break into an installed conditioned schizophrenia, turning them into fighting machines.

- Graude pharmaceuticals devised a treatment in which the different combinations of drugs while being in a conditioned state maintains an illusionary world to the patient, creating a perfect killing machine. The higher on drugs, the more unstopabble the user is and heavier falls to the schizophrenia. Cult mentality brainwashing at its peak.

- Pegasus Ryuseiken is Seiya with machine guns.

- Dragon cloth is body armor and shield while Rozan Shoryuha is a grenade launcher.

- Hyoga is an expert knife thrower. He sees them bleed to death in every fight leaving only a cold body behind.

- Shun is a locksmith able to break through any entry and uses a stun rod.

- Ikki has access to mustard gas grenades (Genmaken) and a compress fire thrower.

- When Phoenix Ikki goes to Death Queen island he is really getting therapy to recover, but this fails. The mafia kills Esmeralda and blames it on the doctors

- Saga takes over the Greek mafia from Shion and sets it against Saori Kido’s plan of using his “saints” to take over the global underworld.

- The Galaxian tournament is really an underground fight involved in high stakes gambling.

- The golden cloth is truly the three sacred treasures of the Imperial Regalia of Japan, Mitsumasa Kido has them and controls the emperor of Japan.

- Ikki still semi-recovered and tried to destroy the illegal fighting ring but falls to his “friends” mass psychosis and rejoin Kido after heavy treatment in isolation.

- Fight with Medusa. They are tempted to cocaine abuse, excess of time with him will have them high enough that become “petrified”

- Shaka is from a British longstanding family in India from the times of the empire and gained control of the hindi mafia

- Milo is characterized for using teflon-coated bullets.

- Aphrodite is a poison expert.

- During the Asgard saga they fight the Scandinavian mafia.

- “Hades”, the King of the Underworld, is the head of the Sicilian mafia. He is the only one above Mistumasa Kido’s legacy.
