The trilogy had an excerpt by Tim Dedopulos on his old site. I copied only the stats of the characters but I do remember there was a translation of Delphine's conversation with her twin sister. Here are the stats.

 

DELPHINE DECOURT

Delphine was arguably the most important character to get right in Slave Ring. Although Theo is the 'Hero' -- that's combined Viewpoint Character and Protagonist for those of you into technical definitions -- Delphine is a vital part of the book's dynamic, a humanizing foil for Theo (who, let's face it, is quite a hard-ass) and also the character who acts as our window onto Kindred society, because it's all so fresh for her. All those things combine to make her really critical. I have whole swathes of mental notes about her, and I will take the time to write her up properly (if anyone seems in the least interested, anyway!), but for the moment I'm going to have to make do with just putting up some little bits and pieces.

Delphine and Nathalie are seventeen, and would certainly have described themselves as pretty normal before Slave Ring kicked off. They're really close, do pretty much everything together, tell each other absolutely everything, and think in much the same way. Unlike some identical twins, they don't finish each other's sentences, but because they're on the same wavelength, they often use obscure symbology when they're talking; it can sound like code to an outsider, although really it's just that they know each other so well that they can follow each other.

After her mother's death, Delphine learnt to detach herself from her feelings and just cope. She's definitely stronger for it, but it does mean that she doesn't always take things as seriously as perhaps she should. She's very pretty, and although she's a good kid, she's learnt how to make use of her looks when needs be. She used to get a load of spiteful bullshit at school until she started fighting back, and now she is a social force to be reckoned with, particularly as she is perceptive about people. Delphine is outgoing, with a generous heart, a good sense of fun, and a total lack of respect for petty authority, so she is popular with just about everyone. Even the bitch squad has twigged that she is a lot more fun to hang with than to have as an enemy. Besides which, there are effectively two of her...

Delphine and her sister are on the school swimming and athletics teams, and have repeatedly turned down offers to join the cheer squad, mainly because they don't have time. Their grades are good but not spectacular; they tend to coast their school work, relying on intelligence to pull them through. Delphine has a strong unconventional streak, and is perfectly happy making friends right across the school social structure. She's had a number of boyfriends, but nothing serious. Her tastes veer to the alternative -- she's more into Avril Lavigne, Feeder and the Foo Fighters than Britney, Christina or Enrique, and she thinks Johnny Depp is just way too cute. She's been meaning to get good with the guitar for a couple of years now. She can play a bit, but not enough, and she's got a great singing voice, so she reckons it's a shame not to give it a try. Deep down, she wants to be adored by everyone.

Her dad is a little distant, and although they're close, she finds him tricky to talk to sometimes. She helps out around the house as much as possible, and tries to pretend that she doesn't notice when he has a bad night. He hasn't had a serious relationship since her mom died, and although she was jealously glad of that when she was younger, she's getting kinda worried about it now. 

Delphine hasn't really thought too much about what she wants from the future; if she can't make it as a star -- which she doesn't really expect to, but wants to try -- then she figures something will come up. Which it will. Just not quite in the way she was expecting...
